Coaching doesn’t have to be complicated.

How I guide my clients on live calls

World-class coaching is simple.

If it’s feeling complicated, I’m probably not doing it right.

Here’s what a 60-minute coaching conversation with me looks like:

I open with something like:
“What brings you to the call, (name)?”
or
“What do you want to focus on today?”

Then I do the rarest thing in the world:
I listen. Really listen.

That might sound obvious, but if you’ve ever truly felt heard, you know how powerful it is.
After a while, I might ask:
“Can I reflect something back to you that I’m seeing?”
Then I tell them the truth. Gently, clearly—no sugarcoating, no pretending.

From there, we go deeper.

“What is it you want that you’re not getting right now in your life?”
This opens up something real. Sometimes it pours out.

Then I ask:
“What’s the story you’re telling yourself about why you can’t have it?”

Gold. Every time.

Once the story is out, we either dissolve it—because it’s just not true—or rewrite it into something real and actionable. Something grounded.

Finally, I ask:
“What’s one clear next step you can take before we talk again?”

They answer. We lock it in.

That’s it.

It’s not rocket science.
It’s human.
We all want love, meaningful work, a sense of belonging, and to feel like we matter.

Let’s not overcomplicate it.
