The Biggest Lie We’ve Been Sold About Success
(and the truth)
Hey there,
Let’s get real for a second:
Most people who look “successful” on the outside feel like a total fraud on the inside.
They’ve got the title, the money, the accolades. You’d look at their Instagram and think, “Damn, they’ve got it all.”
But here’s the truth: They’re quietly miserable.
Why?
Because they’ve been chasing someone else’s version of success.
And maybe you’ve been doing the same thing.
Think about it:
You work harder.
You achieve more.
You tick all the boxes society says you should tick.
But deep down, it doesn’t feel how you thought it would. There’s this gnawing sense that something’s missing—like you’re climbing a ladder that’s leaning against the wrong wall.
I know that feeling. I lived it.
For years, I chased success the way I was taught: Build the career. Make the money. Keep everyone happy.
And yeah, I checked off all the boxes. But instead of feeling fulfilled, I felt empty. I kept asking myself, “Is this really it?”
Here’s what I realized:
Success doesn’t come from more. It doesn’t come from other people’s approval, flashy results, or being liked.
Success comes from alignment.
It’s about living in a way that feels true to you—whether that means leaving a career you hate, setting boundaries with people who drain you, or finally stepping into the bold, unapologetic version of yourself and getting clear on what you believe in.
True success isn’t something you achieve. It’s something you feel.
But the hardest part? Letting go of the lie you’ve been sold: That your worth is tied to what you accomplish.
It’s not.
Your worth isn’t in your job, your bank account, or how many people think you’ve “made it.” Your worth is in how aligned you are with who you really are.
And when you start living that way—when you stop chasing and start aligning—you realize something crazy:
Success was never outside of you.
It’s been waiting inside you this whole time.
So let me ask you:
What part of your life feels out of alignment right now?
What’s one step you can take today to bring it back into balance?
If this resonates, I made a video for you this week that dives deeper into this idea. I recorded it to help you see what’s really keeping you stuck—and how you can break free.
Let’s make this the moment you stop chasing someone else’s dream and start living your own.
Talk soon,
